What's included in the price? Your rental rate will include, unlimited mileage, Collision Damage and Theft Waivers, Third Party Liability insurance, 24 hour breakdown cover and VAT. A damage/loss excess will apply; this amount will be confirmed as part of your rental quotation. Please note certain prestige vehicles may carry a higher excess and may also have a mileage restriction.
How can I pay for my rental? We accept all major credit and debit cards except American Express or Diners. The expected cost of rental will be charged at the point of rental. A separate PreAutorisation transaction will be carried out in respect of the damage / loss excess amount - this does not leave your account, we merely obtain authorisation from your credit card provider that teh funds are available. We do not accept cash.
What happens if the car group booked is not available at pick up? If the vehicle group booked is unavailable at the point of pick up, we will provide you will an upgrade at no additional cost.
Can I amend my booking? We will do our best to assist with any requests to amend a booking. Please provide as much notice as possible to enable any such changes to be made and confirmed to you.
Can I get a refund? No refunds will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date.
Can I take the vehicle abroad? Vehicles may be taken to mainland Europe with our prior consent. You will require to have certain documentation with you for travelling abroad which we will provide. A minimum of three days advance notice is required.
What happens if I have an accident? In the event of any accidents involving the rental vehicle, you must:
- Notify the local police (obtain police reference where applicable)
- Notify the renting branch as soon as possible
- Complete an accident report form at the earliest possible opportunity
- Take full details of third parties and witnesses where applicable
- Retain copies of all rental documentation in the event an insurance company is involved.
- Not make any admission of liability
Can anyone else drive the vehicle? Only those who are authorised by us may drive. A full driving licence for all additional drivers must be produced. All drivers must meet the qualifying criteria. A small charge is made for additional drivers.
What documents do I need? You will be required to produce a valid driving licence showing your entitlement to drive the vehicle booked (in the case of the new UK 2-part driving license, BOTH parts must be produced). In addition you will be required to provide two forms of identification (passport, utility bill).
Please note that we are unable to provide a vehicle to a customer without the presentation of your complete driving licence, including any paper counterparts issued.
